Scenic Paints
Rose Brand offers a variety of scenic paints, keying paints, and studio paints for creating scenery and effects. We feature, Rosco scenic paints, the most used brand in the industry. Unlike house paint, Rosco scenic paints:
- Provide bright colors that won't grey when mixed due to the high volume and quality of their pigments.
- Do not reflect stage light because they have a matte finish (even flat house paint has a sheen.)
- Adheres well to fabric as opposed to just hard surfaces such as walls due to special formulation.
Many of our paints can be diluted for easier application and better value. Also see our sections on coatings, faux finishes, flame retardants, applicators & more for other scenic artist supplies.
